These terms and conditions apply to Star Local’s services in the areas of websites, SEO, maintenance, and other digital services.
These terms apply to quotes, assignments, and agreements with Star Local, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Star Local performs the assignment carefully and professionally.
The client provides all required texts, images, login details, approvals, and other information in good time.
Delays caused by missing client information may shift the schedule.
Work outside the agreed scope counts as additional work and may be invoiced separately.
Changes to planning, design, functionality, or content may affect price and delivery.
The client reviews drafts and deliveries within a reasonable period.
After approval, further changes are treated as new work or additional work.
Minor defects that do not prevent normal use are not grounds to reject the full delivery.
Costs and terms of external parties such as hosting, domain registration, software, plugins, APIs, and paid services may apply separately.
Star Local is not responsible for outages or changes at external suppliers beyond its reasonable control.
Maintenance, security updates, content changes, and ongoing SEO are included only when explicitly agreed.
Without a maintenance agreement, Star Local is not responsible for later changes by third parties, outdated software, or unauthorised modifications.
Star Local works professionally on technical SEO, content, and online visibility.
No guarantees are given for:
Search engines, competition, and algorithms are outside Star Local’s full control.
Star Local is liable for direct damage only to the extent it results from a demonstrable shortcoming and to the extent liability can be limited under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, Star Local is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, lost revenue, data loss, or business interruption.
Limitations of liability do not apply in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness where the law does not allow exclusion.
Star Local is not liable for delay or non-performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as outages, cyber incidents, illness, government measures, or failure of external suppliers.
Termination, cancellation, and any consequences are determined by the agreement, progress of the work, and applicable law.
Work already performed and costs already incurred remain payable.
Complaints should be reported as soon as possible after discovery, with sufficient detail so Star Local can investigate an appropriate solution.
Dutch law applies to the agreement, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Star Local may amend these terms. For an ongoing agreement, the version available at the time it was entered into applies, unless the parties agree otherwise.
